Amy McRae
Head Registered Veterinary Technician, VA & Co-op Student Coordinator
Amy has always been surrounded by animals, so life in veterinary medicine was a natural fit. She grew up on a dairy and beef farm which is where she can be found these days when she’s not at the clinic. Amy has been working in the veterinary field since 2006 and became a RVT in 2010 after graduating with distinction from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College. Amy is a Fear Free Certified technician, with her professional interest including client education and general medicine.
When she is not at work, Amy enjoys spending time on the farm with the cows and ponies, her Boston Terrier (Pennie), Lab/Border Collie (Ella), Quarter Horse (Dunny), four fantastic felines, a flock of chickens, and of course, her husband Matt and young children Andrew and Maryanne.
