Wellness & Preventive Care
Happier, healthier lives
You want to do everything possible to keep your best friend healthy and happy. Through regular wellness and preventive care, we can help you prevent many diseases and conditions that can threaten your pet’s health.
Most pets require annual wellness visits, which consist of a thorough physical exam, and may include, parasite screening, baseline blood work, vaccines, and parasite prevention recommendations. By keeping up with your pet’s preventive care, you can effectively limit common infectious and parasitic diseases. Unfortunately, not every medical condition can be prevented. Regular wellness visits also help us detect problems early, when treatment is more likely to be effective.

Puppy & Kitten Care
Welcoming a new puppy or kitten into your life is an exciting time, and you want to ensure your new companion has a healthy start. Puppies and kittens are at their most vulnerable during their first months of life, and they are susceptible to infectious diseases and parasites.
Between 6 and 8 weeks of age, pets should have their first veterinary visit, which will include a thorough physical exam, their first vaccine, and deworming medication. Your puppy or kitten will return every three to four weeks for additional vaccines and deworming treatments until they are older than 16 weeks. During your puppy or kitten’s visits, we will also ensure they are developing properly, and counsel you about your new pet’s behavior, socialization, and nutrition. Additionally, we can teach you how to perform routine at-home care, such as trimming your puppy or kitten’s toenails and performing basic grooming tasks.
