Amy Stewart

Amy is a proud graduate of the Durham College Veterinary Office Assistant program in Oshawa, where she completed her studies with honours in November 2023. Shortly after, she had the incredible opportunity to work at a wildlife center in 2024, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from porcupines to bobcats, and many others.

In the clinic, Amy is especially passionate about surgery assistance, as well as the recovery and monitoring of patients. Caring for animals, big and small, has always been at the heart of who she is.
At home, she shares her life with two beautiful cats that she absolutely adores. Amy has been a dedicated tap dancer for over 20 years and continues to dance to this day. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, she loves staying active in her downtime, whether she’s at the gym, practicing yoga, swimming, hiking, or enjoying the outdoors.
